Our Vision, Mission, History & Founder

The Atlanta Enterprise Center, Inc. was founded as an outreach ministry of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in 1982 on the dream and passion of the Rev. Dr. Reynell M. Parkins. With the assistance of the founding board of directors, this dream began a vision with a mission taking life. Over the years, the program gained momentum, becoming an independent 501(C)(3) organization in 1989. Today, the Atlanta Enterprise Center continues to provide opportunities for self-sufficiency to Atlanta's homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless.

Vision

The Atlanta Enterprise Center’s vision is to become the nation’s most effective employment development program for the economically disadvantaged.
